Addiction is a deadly thing

Today is the anniversary of the death of Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958-April 21, 2016), who died of an accidental overdose to Fentanyl (an opioid). In fact the majority of overdoses are accidental. Similarly, the majority of addictions are accidental as well. My new article about addiction is coming this week, to provide more detailed resources for those who may be struggling and in need of help for themselves or loved ones. Notify your Doctor, contact 911 in case of an emergency, and call the Hope Line at 1-800-622-2255 for 24 hour assistance and referrals. Don't suffer in silence. Too many lives have been cut short prematurely. May Prince rest in peace, and his music live on forever.
